Did you know?
Liechtenstein is a landlocked country which also does not have an international airport, meaning that you cannot fly directly into Liechtenstein. Liechtenstein doesn't issue its own visas, so the same visa requirements apply as they do to Switzerland.
Liechtenstein may be a small stunning country nestled between Switzerland and Austria, but it offers breathtaking alpine scenery, historic castles, and charming villages. For Indian travellers looking to explore Liechtenstein’s unique landscapes and rich heritage, a tourist visa is the first step.
If you’re an Indian passport holder planning to visit Liechtenstein in 2024-25, here’s everything you need to know to apply for a Liechtenstein Tourist Visa from India.

The process to apply for a Liechtenstein Tourist Visa from India is carried out in five easy steps.
STEP 1: Choose the visa type: Most tourists apply for the Type C Visa (Short-stay/Schengen Visa). Download the application form from the official Schengen embassy or consulate website of the country representing Liechtenstein (often Switzerland).
STEP 2: Gather the required documents: Collect all necessary documents, including your passport, travel insurance, proof of funds and itinerary, to meet the visa requirements. Your documents must be up-to-date and accurate.
STEP 3: Schedule an appointment: Book an appointment with the embassy, consulate or Visa Application Center (VAC) representing Liechtenstein - and submit your application and documents. At this stage, you may also be asked to give biometrics (fingerprints).
STEP 4: Pay the visa fee: After submitting your application, pay the non-refundable visa processing fee online or at the embassy, consulate or VAC. Make sure to keep copies of your application form and fee receipt as it may be required later.
STEP 5: Wait for a decision: Visa processing time is usually between 2-15 days. Once approved, collect your passport and visa from the embassy, consulate or VAC. If you’re having trouble with the application process, seek guidance from immigration consultants at Nationwide Visas.
