As of July 29th, 2025, IRCC has increased the funds requirement for those who immigrate to Canada through RCIP (Rural Community Immigration Pilot) and FCIP (Francophone Community Immigration Pilot) by over 30%. The minimum amount for a single applicant has been increased by $2,544. This higher financial threshold applies only to those applying for Canada PR through the rural and northern immigration pilot.
