Citizens of eligible nations can apply for a UK Youth Mobility Scheme Visa if their age is in the range of 30 to 18 years and if they intend to reside and work in the UK. Applicants must:

• Seek to stay and work in the UK for a maximum of 24 months
• Be in the age group 18 to 30 years or 35 years based on their nationality
• Possess savings of £2,530
• Possess specific categories of UK Citizenship or be from specific nations or territories included in the eligibility criteria

Adequate Funds Criteria

• Applicants must possess in their bank account a minimum of £2,530
• The funds must be accessible for a minimum of 28 consecutive days, 28th day has to be within the 31st day of filing the Visa application

You must:

• Make payment of the application fee of £298
• Make payment of the surcharge for healthcare which is normally £776 annually
• Possess adequate personal savings which is usually £2,530

UK Youth Mobility Visa Validity

• You can reside and work in the UK for a maximum of 24 months
• You can arrive in the UK at any time during the validity of your Visa and exit and re-arrive at any time during the validity of your Visa

• Be employed as a professional sportsperson, for instance as a coach
• Extend the Visa except if you are from New Zealand, Canada, or Australia
• Obtain public funds
• Include members of the family in the application and they have to separately apply
