Counting the number of the draw held by the province of Manitoba, this was the seventh Expression of Interest (EOI) draw held on March 28, inviting the candidates who have applied for Canada PR visa via the provincial nomination program of Manitoba – Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
Candidates who have applied under MPNP’s streams – Skilled Worker Overseas, Skilled Worker in Manitoba and International Education Streams were issued the invitation in the latest EOI draw.
Invited candidate under the latest Expression of Interest (EOI) draw held on March 28, need to get their EOI profile registered under MPNP. To be considering for a nomination from the province of Manitoba under the streams Skilled Worker Overseas and Skilled Worker in Manitoba streams and International Education Stream, submitting the EOI profile is the first step.
EOI profile of the candidates are awarded points based on the factors like educational qualification, language proficiency and Manitoba connection and the candidate with the highest rank is then issued a Letter of Advice to Apply (LAAs) via the regular invitation rounds.
Express entry registered candidates were also issued invitations among the group of 260 Skilled Worker Overseas candidates who received LAAs in the latest draw. Express entry candidates’ needs to have a valid express entry ID and job-seeker validation code with minimum six months of work experience in an occupation that is in-demand in the Manitoba province. If the candidate is able to land the provincial nomination, then they are awarded with 600 CRS points. These many points make sure that the candidate is able to land the Invitation to Apply (ITA) to apply for Canada PR visa to the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Other candidates who received LAAs under Skilled Worker Overseas stream needs to meet the following requirements:
Candidate with lowest score under this category who received LAA had the score 563 points.
29 Skilled Worker Overseas were issued LAAs via Strategic Recruitment Initiative in the latest Manitoba’s EOI draw. SRI includes overseas recruitment missions conducted by the MPNP in association with Manitoba business. 719 were the score of the lowest scored candidate with LAA.
So far the total invitation issued under MPNP via these streams has bring the total to 3,199.
Under the Skilled Workers in Manitoba, MPNP issued 262 invitations with candidates having the score as low as 433 in March 1 draw. This is the lowest score for the Skilled Workers in Manitoba draw so far in 2019. For to be eligible under for this category, candidates needs to be qualified temporary foreign workers and international student graduates who are currently living in the province and have been offered a permanent job by a Manitoba employer.
Other than these additional 44 invitations were issued to the candidate’s under International Education Stream candidates. This stream gives pathways to permanent residence for eligible international graduates of province post-secondary institutions.
