Quebec Immigration In-demand Occupation List 2019

Quebec Immigration In-demand Occupation List 2019

Most of the provinces in Canada have their own provincial nomination program that allows them to nominate the skilled and capable immigrants for permanent residence visa in the province. These PNPs have different requirements and eligibility criteria depending on the local labor market demands of the province. But Quebec does not have Provincial Nomination Program (PNP) for inviting the skilled immigrants.

For immigrating to the province of Quebec there is no stream that requires candidates to have occupation in-demand in the province. The only way for a skilled immigrant to move to the province of Quebec is via the – Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP).

Quebec province has their own immigration program that allows them to invite the potential immigrants that can help in the development of the province via the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP). Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) enables highly educated and trained foreign nationals to move to the province of Quebec as skilled workers.

Process to Apply for permanent residence in Quebec Province in 2019

There are two steps to apply for permanent residence in Quebec province:

Step 1: First step for the candidates applying for PR in Quebec is to get the Quebec Selection Certificate (CSQ). This certificate signifies that the candidate is able to meet all the requirements and eligibility criteria of the Quebec Skilled Worker Program (QSWP) and Quebec province has selected the candidate to settle permanently in the province.

Step 2: Once the candidate is able to land the CSQ certificate, they are able to apply for permanent residence visa to the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC). Candidates have to submit their application with CSQ certificate.
