Working Holiday Visa

Working Holiday Visa

The Canada Government has initiated a program named, International Experience Canada (IEC), under which the young foreign nationals are permitted to travel and work in the country for a short period of time. However, only those countries which have a bilateral youth mobility agreement with Canada are liable to process the visa under the mentioned program. The major aim behind the initiation of this program is to help enhance the exchange of culture and knowledge among the countries with respect to varied cultural aspects, lifestyle and identity.

Visa categories available under the IEC program-

Working Holiday-
It is one of the most preferred and popular category since, it allows all immigrants to work under the Canadian Employer and earn while exploring the beautiful locations of the country but it grants the visitor the opportunity to remain employed only on temporary basis.

Young Professionals –
This visa category is for those classes of individuals who aspire to frame a global professional career. Thus, they will get an opportunity to travel a new country, meet individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds, learn new language, and exchange professional views & gain business knowledge.

International Co-op Internship –

This visa category is specifically designed for students offering them an opportunity to complete their internship in their field of study that would not only help them gain knowledge of their related subject but will also be counted in their work experience.

The category in which the applicant can apply depends on his country of origin.
