2018 Express Entry Draw

Starts at New Low

Canada immigration is becoming and more and more possible with each new Express Entry Draw. The first draw held in 2018 continued the trend of low CRS scores for qualifying for immigration to Canada through the Express Entry program.

This has raised hopes for many people who had previously been unable to clear the Express Entry immigration criteria. The latest draw has issued a CRS cut-off at 440 CRS points. This is two points below the CRS cut-off of the previous Express Entry draw and has led to speculation that the CRS score will fall even further.

Coupled with this, comes the news that the Express Entry draws will be held more frequently AND that more ITAs will be issued now. The reason for this is the huge skill gap currently present in Canada.

Important: Canada Immigration New Rules 2019

The country’s economy is expanding rapidly and needs more and more skilled professionals to come and live there. If you want to be among the hordes of people taking advantage of this opportunity and applying for Canada PR, then there is no better time to do it than now!

Why Should I Apply for Canada Immigration in 2018?

2018 is going to be a big year in Canada immigration history. The IRCC, which is Canada’s biggest immigration authority, is all set to invite over 565,000 skilled workers into Canada through the Express Entry program. This means that the chances for skilled professionals who want to move to Canada are bigger and better than ever before.

Naturally, this means that there are countless people who are applying for immigration to Canada in 2018. So, the competition is very tough and only the best can get selected for immigration to Canada through the Express Entry program.

However, the Express Entry program is not the only way to move to Canada with a PR visa. There are some other pathways you can explore in order to be selected for immigration to Canada in 2018.

What are the Other Ways to Immigrate to Canada in 2018?

The Provincial Nomination Programs or PNPs allow candidates to directly move to Canada without having to clear the Express Entry eligibility requirements. While these PNPs do have their own eligibility criteria and immigration stream, just like Express Entry, their requirements are much more relaxed.

For any person who cannot get through with the Express Entry program or wants to immigrate to a specific province in Canada or simply wants to increase their chances of getting selected for Canada PR in 2018, PNPs are the best option.
