IRCC, Immigration Refugees and Citizenship Canada, launched the eighth Express Entry Draw of the year on 25th April 2018 and there was a pattern witnessed through the draw as this time as well 3,500 invitations were issued for the Canadian permanent residency (PR) Status in the Express Entry program. Further, as a breath of fresh air there was a drop in the qualifying marks required as well which was at a low point of 441.
The entries of the aspiring candidates for the Permanent Residency (PR) status are put in the Express Entry Pool from that the Express Entry Draw is conducted by the IRCC which selects the minimum eligibility score point for the PR status. After the candidates qualify the minimum eligibility Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points they are provided with the ITA (Invitations to Apply) which should be responded within the period of 90 days by the candidate. The whole process of filing and processing the application gets completed in the time period of six to twelve months.
There was nothing but good news will the release of Express Entry Draw this time. It was second time in a row when The IRCC invited 3,500 applications for the Canada Permanent Residency (PR) status. This massive number of invitations for the PR status is attributed to the fact that the qualifying Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points has been reduced to 441 CRS points. This means that all those candidates who have scored 441 points or above are fit to apply for the Canada PR Status. Further, the usual pattern of Express Entry Draw results being announced after every fortnight was followed by the IRCC. Also, the draws this year around have seen a huge detour from the pattern followed by the last year draws.
There cannot be any speculation about what the next score requirement would be but a general pattern of the draw can be sensed. The scores that are been released in the last few draws have not changed much drastically but the invitations asked have been more or less on the same lines. Looking at the entries score required this seems to be a good time for the aspirants to file in for the PR status of Canada.
