IMMIGRATION NEWS

Good News to all Canada immigration aspirants! If you want to move to Canada, now is the time to apply. The recent Express Entry draw which was issued on the 6th of December has seen a great rise in the number of ITAs or Invitation to Apply. In the previous draw as well as this draw, the number of invitations issued is 2,750. This is a significant rise from the 8th November draw, where only 2000 invitations were issued.  Experts think that this trend is likely to rise further as the Canadian government has declared it wants to bring in more immigrants and is all set to invite as many as 565,000 immigrants through the Express Entry program till 2020.

One of the major considerations in this draw is the cut-off, which has been increased to 452. This is a very rare scenario as the cut-off usually rests around the 430s and experts say that we can expect other draws to hold their cut-off at the same 430s levels. Another thing to keep in mind is that the Express Entry draws are likely to increase in frequency, which means that while most of the draws took place once every 15 days, now there will be more draws made in each month. This is a result of the Canadian government’s decision to bring in more people into the country.

One more aspect of Canada immigration is that since the country wants to bring in more professionals, it will either have to make more draws or make larger draws and in both these cases they will have to lower the lowest cut-off. So, the chances of moving to Canada are very high right now and any people who want to apply for immigration to Canada should do it right away. The size and frequency of the Express Entry draws tells us that there is a big skills gap in the country which the Canadian government is trying to fill up. This means that it will be easy to move to Canada and also find a job there. Naturally, the Canadian employers, both in public and private companies will also be hiring a lot of immigrants now, since the majority of the workforce will include a lot of immigrants with a wide range of skills which they can use.
