Province of British Columbia in the latest provincial draw held on April 21st invited a total 91 candidates through British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP)’s Tech Pilot. Candidates with a job offer from an eligible employer of the province in a tech-related occupation are invited to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada permanent residence.
All the invited candidates were from the BCPNP’s Skilled Worker and International Graduates sub-categories under Skills Immigration and Express Entry B.C Stream. Invited Candidates need to have a score of a minimum of 85 points.
BCPNP uses their SIRS – Skills Immigration Registration System points to assess the applications for the provincial nomination. In this point system, scores are awarded based on factors like level of education, years of direct work experience, and having a B.C employment offer.
All the invited applicants have up to 30 calendar days to submit their application online via the BCPNP Online Registration System. An invitation to apply does not guarantee that applicant will be selected for the provincial nomination.
To be eligible for BCPNP, most candidates must have an intermediate, full-time job offer from an eligible employer of the province.
