Two new streams linked with Express Entry introduced in the Alberta Immigration Nominee program (AINP)

The Express Entry linked streams for the Canadian Province of Alberta was introduced recently.  It is a good opportunity for aspirants to get the Permanent Resident (PR) status of Canada through Alberta Immigration Nominee Program (AINP). This will allow the province of Alberta to invite candidates for the Permanent Resident (PR) status who are in the Express Entry Pool.

The two new streams which are introduced are:

  • Self-employment Farmer stream
  • Alberta opportunity Stream (AOS)

Through Alberta opportunity Stream (AOS), the Alberta Employer –driven stream and strategic Recruitment stream both get replaced.   AM I ELIGIBLE FOR THE PR STATUS OF CANADA?

The federal government has allotted total number of 5,600 nominations to the province of Alberta for 2018 and so far 2277 applications have already been issued by the province.

For the entry into AINP the candidate should qualify the minimum eligibility requirement of the province based on age, language, education, work experience and adaptability. For Alberta opportunity Stream (AOS) there is no need of the candidate to have an employer support. Through Alberta opportunity Stream (AOS), the Alberta Employer –driven stream and strategic Recruitment stream both get replaced.

The main motto behind introduction of these streams is that the occupation and skills in various professions should witness an increase in the province and also provide flexibility in the trade skills.

The Express Entry Program invites skilled workers in its domain through three main sub categories- Federal Skilled Workers program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Traders Program(FSTP) and Canadian Experience Class(CEC). There are also 600 extra points allocated to the candidate who qualifies under this stream.  Thus, Alberta Immigration Nominee Program (AINP) is a very lucrative model for a candidate to migrate to Canada.
