British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BCPNP) issues a total of 237 invitations to the candidates who have applied for a provincial nomination for Canada permanent residence on the latest provincial draw held on May 7.
Candidates were invited through BCPNP’s Express Entry BC and Skills Immigration streams. The score required for the latest round of invitations depends on the sub-category.
Following are the provincial scores required for the candidates included in two subcategories for Express Entry BC:
All the above-invited candidates had a valid Express Entry profile in the federal government’s Express entry program. If the candidates are able to get a provincial nomination, they are effectively guaranteed to get an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to apply for Canada PR Visa to the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
Following are the provincial scores required for the candidates included in three subcategories for Skills Immigration:
This invitation round was affected by the impact of Coronavirus on B.C. businesses. A number of sales and service occupations were not included in the draw.
Invited candidates have 30 calendar days to submit their application for provincial nomination after receiving their respective invitation.
