Eleventh Express Entry Draws – 13th June, 2018

This is the largest draw of the year 2018 in which 3,750 applications have been sent Invitations to Apply (ITA). The tie-break rule will be applied by the IRCC in this draw as well. The tie break rule states that the entries which have been in the pool, for the longest period of time will be given preference over the others.  This time the draws were released a little later than the usual 15 days’ gap as there was a three weeks gap which was taken before the draws were announced. The last draw conducted on 23rd May, 2018.

Latest update on immigration to Canada

There has been a pattern that has been seen in the number of ITAs issued this year as it has constantly increased over the course of time, with the first two draws asking for 2,750 ITAs followed by 3,000 ITAs in the next four draws and 3,500 ITAs in the other four draws.  Thus, it is speculation that the next draw will also ask for increased entries as the target for 2018 is set at 74,900 admissions through the economic Immigration classes by the end of the year. However, these are all speculations and nobody can predict the real numbers decided by the IRCC.
