AINP invites a total 150 Express entry candidates for provincial nomination with the minimum CRS score as low as 300 points in the latest provincial draw.
In its fourth Express entry draw of 2020, Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) invites immigrants to apply for a provincial nomination for Canadian permanent residence on February 20th.
A total of 150 Express entry candidates were invited by AINP with the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score as low as 300 points.
To be eligible to apply under AINP, immigrants do not require a job offer in the province, but they must have a valid express entry profile. Express entry program, is the main source for skilled immigrants, managing the pool of the immigrants who have applied for Canada PR Visa through three major economic immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
Candidates’ profiles in the express entry pool are ranked based on human capital factors such as work experience, official language proficiency, and age. Profiles are then awarded CRS points based on these factors.
The highest-ranked profiles in the express entry pool are then issued Invitation to Apply (ITA) to apply for Canada PR Visa to the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC). If an express entry candidate can get a provincial nomination certificate, and they are awarded major 600 CRS points. These many points effectively guarantee the candidate to get an ITA.
For an express entry candidate with a CRS score of 300 points to get a provincial nomination certificate, it increases the CRS score to 900 points. These many points are more than enough to land an ITA, as the latest CRS score cut-off was set at 471 points.
Express entry candidates need to be working in an occupation that supports the province’s “economic development and diversification priorities” to be eligible for an invitation through AINP streams.
Province of Alberta’s PNP – AINP do not release a list of eligible occupation, but priority is given to the candidates who can meet the following criteria:
AINP in this year 2020 has invited a total of 651 invitation to express entry candidates so far. The previous year, AINP invited a total of 11,137 express entry candidates through its Express entry stream.

Ever since I have spoken to Team Nationwide, I have received all kinds of support I have looked for, starting from transcripts to IELTS coaching, they have helped me with everything. I already have referred three of my friends to them because of the fabulous service delivered by them and shall be doing it in the future too.
Quality work and friendliness is why I decided to opt for Nationwide Visas for preparing my application for Permanent Residence in Canada. Today, my parents are proud of me for making the right choice, it has all become possible because of Nationwide.
Nothing influences me more than a recommendation from a trusted friend, I got reference for Nationwide Visas through one of my friends, who got his ITA with the help of Team Nationwide. They explained the documentation process in detail and made the correct recommendations that I cherish now.
Before initiating the immigration process, I was a bit skeptical, however, after having a word with their consultant who explained the whole process to me over the phone without trying to sell their service, I felt assured. I did not give it a second thought and initiated my immigration process. All the case managers at Nationwide Visas are well-versed with the process and never fall short of expectations whenever I walk up to them with any queries.
For the past 4 months, I had been struggling with understanding the immigration process and was looking for a consultant who could not only explain the process, but also guide me regarding what all options were available to me. So, after reading their reviews, I approached Nationwide Visas, and true to their reviews, they explained the whole process to me while also giving me clear information about the chances I had at securing Canada PR Visa.
