Express Entry Draw invited 3,900 candidates for Permanent Residency(PR) status of Canada

On 3rd October, 2018, the Government of Canada announced the Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) cut off of 445 points through the Express Entry Draws. That means, all the candidates who had 445 points or above in the Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) are eligible to apply for the Permanent Residency(PR) status of Canada. Through the Express Entry Draw, the IRCC (Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada) also invited 3,900 Express Entry Candidates for the Canadian Permanent Residency(PR) status.

  Key points of the Express Entry Draw are:

  • The Express Entry Draw was opened on 3rd October, 2018 to 4th October, 2018
  • Usual trend of Express Entry Draws released after 15 days was followed
  • Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score asked is 445 points or above
  • IRCC invited 3,900 Candidates in this draw

This is the largest number draw in the year 2018 with 3,900 candidates invited by the IRCC (Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada). This year has been a good year for immigration as a large number of draws have been issued. Also, this time there was an increase of 4 Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) points in this draw from the last one, On 19th September, 2018. As last time a Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score of 441 was asked from the candidates but this time a Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score of 445 points has been asked. Just like other times, this time as well a tie-break rule has been applied in which all the application submitted before 2nd October at 4: 02: 11 UTC will be considered for the draw. The candidates who have been in the draw for a longer period of time will be considered.
