In the quick succession from the last Express Entry Draws, the 12th Express Entry Draw got released from the Government of Canada early within 11 days’ gap only on June 25th 2018. With this draw the IRCC (Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada) invited 3,750 Express Entry candidates to apply for the Permanent Residency (PR) status of Canada with the cut off of Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score of 442 points. With this, the number of invitation sent by the IRCC Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada) has increased to 39,700 this year. This throws light on the plan to invite more candidates through the Express Entry Program in the year 2018 and 2019 which is 74,900 and 81,400 respectively.

The Twelfth Express Entry Draws – 25th June, 2018

The twelfth Express Entry Draws were the second largest draws of the year 2018 in which for the second time 3,750 candidates were issued the Invitations to Apply (ITA). This time also the tie-break rule was applied by the Government of Canada that means that the candidates who have 442 score or above in the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points and submitted their application before the specified time and date will receive an ITA. The preference would be given to the candidate who have been in the Express Entry pool for a longer period of time. This draw got released within a very short span of time of 11 days only and the ideal gap of 15 days was not followed by the IRCC (Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada). Further, the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score also witnessed a drop of nine points from the earlier draw of 13th June, 2018 as the last draw asked for a Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) point of 451 but this time the cut off of 442 points was asked.
