The latest Express Entry Draws – 5th September 2018

The latest Express Entry Draws saw the low score of 440 Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) announced as the cut off, it is the fourth time in the row such low score has been asked by the IRCC (Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada). Just like all the other times, this time as well, the tie break rule will be applied as per which, the applications which were put in the draw before 29 April 2018 and the specified time of 14: 28: 34 UTC will be given preference over the others. Also, the candidates who have been in the pool for the longer period will be considered first. Candidates are ranked in the pool as per their Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score and all those candidates who are highest ranked are issued an ITA (Invitation to Apply) through regular invitation rounds. Further, the total number of applications in this draw saw the record high of this year which was 3,900 and the trend of 3,750 applications been issued invites since June 13, 2018 was finally broken.

APPLY FOR THE PR STATUS OF CANADA THROUGH EXPRESS ENTRY PROGRAM

The ITA (Invitation to apply) trend of 2018

Over the year the IRCC (Immigration Refugee and Citizenship Canada) has issued quite a number of ITAs (Invitation to Apply) and the number has incremented. In 2018, there are a total of 58,600 ITAs (Invitation to Apply) issued so far in the last 18 draws of the year 2018. In the year 2017, there were 86,023 ITAs (Invitation to Apply) issued in total and the pace at which the things are going the number of applications issued ITAs (Invitation to Apply) will be higher than the last year. The size of the Express Entry Draws began at 2,750 and it has seen the rise to 3,900 ITAs (Invitation to Apply) being issued in September.  Now, the Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) cut off of 440 points seems to be a standard pace and this can also be due to the larger size draws and more regular draws.
