Province of Alberta issued a total of 262 Notification of Interest (NOI) for their express entry linked provincial nomination stream. Express entry candidates with CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) score as low as 300 were issued NOIs in the draw held on June 21st.
With the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) stream linked with federal government’s Express entry program, it allows the province to search for the skilled candidates in the pool of the candidates who have registered under Canada’s three Federal High Skilled immigration programs – Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP) and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
For an express entry candidate to land a provincial nomination, it awards them with 600 CRS points. These many points make sure that the candidate is able to get the Invitation to Apply (ITA) to apply for Canada PR Visa to the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC). AINP’ express entry linked stream allows the candidates with low CRS score to apply for provincial nomination.

The lowest score in this year 2019 was 332 and that was for the Federal Skilled Trades-only draw on May 15 and the lowest CRS score cut-off for all program express draw was 438 points.

Having a job offer or previous work experience in the province is not mandatory but priority is given to candidates with:
