9th express entry draw 2018

Management and Financial Work Experienced Express Entry Candidates Invited By Ontario for Canada PR Visa

Province of Ontario invited a total 997 express entry candidates on August 15th through its Human Capital Priorities Stream of Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP).

Express Entry candidates invited in the latest round of provincial draw, need to have Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) score between 439 – 465 points and work experience in one of following 10 occupations:

  • Other Administrative Services Managers (NOC Code: 0114)
  • Corporate Sales Managers (NOC Code: 0601)
  • Professional occupations in business management consulting (NOC Code: 1122)
  • Advertising, Marketing and Public Relations Manager (NOC Code: 0124)
  • Retail and Wholesale Trade Manager (NOC Code: 0621)
  • Financial Auditors and Accountants (NOC Code: 1111)
  • Registered Nurses and Registered Psychiatric Nurses (NOC Code: 3012)
  • Financial Managers (NOC Code: 0111)
  • Other Financial Officers (NOC Code: 1114)
  • Managers in Customer and Personal services, n.e.c (NOC Code: 0651)

Now, to be eligible under OINP’s Human Capital Priorities Stream having a job offer is not required. The very first step to apply through this stream is to submit a profile in Express entry pool. Candidates need to meet the federal and provincial eligibility criteria for the OINP’s Human Capital Priorities Stream before being able to get a provincial nomination certificate for Canada permanent residence visa.

For an express entry candidate to get a provincial nomination certificate, it awards them 600 CRS points. These many points give a major boost to candidates CRS score thus effectively guaranteeing that candidate gets an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to apply for Canada PR Visa to the Immigration, Refugees & Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
