Lowest Score Requirement in July 6th Pool for Manitoba Province

The province of Manitoba announced its cut off score for the Express Entry candidates on 6th July, 2018 and the draw witnessed the lowest score yet for the province. The score announced was 519, which is 26 points lower than the last score announced on 13th March 2018. This was the sixth draw of the province, since the time Manitoba has introduced a sub-stream category linked to the Express Entry Program.

In the Manitoba Expression of Interest(EOI), the candidate is evaluated out of 1000 points and the ranking system has its own guidelines and criteria involved. With these latest draws, there were 202 Express entry candidates who were issued the letter of advice to apply (LAA).


For the Manitoba immigration, the candidates who have received the LAA should have registered in the express entry program and should have at least 6 months’ full-time work experience in at least one of the in-demand occupation in Manitoba province. Further, the candidate should also have a close relative or friend who is residing in Manitoba. The candidates selected under this category are eligible for 600 bonus Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) points in the Express Entry profile as well.
