Latest MPNP draw held on April 25, invited a total 299 immigrants who have applied for permanent residency via provincial nomination program of Manitoba province – Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).
MPNP issued invitations to the candidates who have applied under Manitoba’s PNP three sub-categories – Skilled Worker in Manitoba, International Education Stream and Skilled Worker Overseas. With the help of the provincial nomination program, province of Manitoba is able to nominate a set number of skilled and capable immigrants via a variety of stream that is designed to meet the local labor market demands of the province.
Invitations were issued in the following pattern to the immigrants registered under MPNP:
To be able to apply for permanent residence visa with MPNP, candidates first have to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) profile with information like educational qualification, work experience, language proficiency in English or French, Manitoba connection and other details required by the Manitoba immigration office.
Based on the details submitted by the candidate’s their profiles are given scores and are submitted into the pool of respective registered candidates. Profiles with the highest score have then issued the Letter of Advice to Apply (LAA) for provincial nomination via regularly held draws.
Candidates who have registered under Skilled Worker Overseas were invited directly by Strategic Recruitment Initiative which is lead by MPNP often in collaboration with eligible employers of the Manitoba province. Candidate, who have applied for provincial nomination via Skilled Worker Overseas and got the invitation, had the lowest score of 632 points. For Skilled Workers in Manitoba registered candidate, the lowest score who got the invitation had the lowest score of 510 points.
Skilled Workers in Manitoba is for eligible temporary foreign workers and international student graduates who are currently working in the province and had got a permanent job offer from an eligible employer of the Manitoba province. Skilled Workers in Manitoba registered candidates who have indicated that they are working in a regulated occupation and are fully licensed to work in the province were issued the invitation in the latest draw.
With the latest draw, the total invitation issued by the Manitoba immigration office for Manitoba provincial nomination program (MPNP) in the year 2019 is 3,901 invitations.
