Manitoba Opens Two New Immigration Pathways Through MPNP

Manitoba is widely known for having one of the easiest eligibility requirements for getting a PNP. That is why it is also very popular with all kinds of applicants. With the rising efforts of different provinces to attract international talent, Manitoba is striving to lead the way.

Recently, the MPNP authorities introduced two new immigration pathways for applicants. Both of these serve unique groups of professionals and can be used to immigrate quicker than ever before. Let us have a look at the overall MPNP immigration process and how these two new steams fit in there.

What Immigration Streams Does MPNP Offer?

The Manitoba PNP system has traditionally offered three immigration pathways – skilled workers, business immigration and community-driven immigration. Now, with the introduction of two new immigration streams which are – international student entrepreneur pathway and graduate internship pathway.

As we can see, both these streams are focussed on students and this shows how Manitoba wants to acquire young talent from around the world. The is a slight difference between the two streams because the entrepreneur program is meant for those who want to start their own business. On the other hand, the student internship program is meant for those who want to work in businesses in Manitoba.

It goes without saying that both of these steams offer massive benefits to applicants. They are also being called ‘fast track’ streams which means that applications which are processed through it will get selected for the ITA quicker than ever. There is one condition, however.

Since this program has just been introduced, only a few consultancies will be able to process the application in the right way. Also, the regulations for applications may also be subject to change as the MPNP authorities determine the best way to use this stream.

So, any student who wants to apply for immigration to Manitoba should approach a reliable Canada immigration consultancy. But before you do that, you should also know about the Manitoba immigration application process in general. Here is a brief overview:

What is the General MPNP Application Process?

Overall, MPNP follows the same process for applications as all other provincial nomination programs. So, what you will need to do is to create a profile and provide the specific details about yourself that they demand. These will include age, language ability, educational qualification, work experience etc. Note that the specific requirements for each stream will differ slightly so it is important to find out the exact details. Also, you will need to provide documents in support of your application.

Once you have made the profile and submitted the documents, the MPNP authorities will evaluate it and assign you a score based on the primary factors. For the two streams we are dealing here, the application process might be faster than normal. Also, it is a good idea to make an Express Entry application at the same time. This will help speed up the process even further.
