9th express entry draw 2018

Candidates with 441 CRS Points Rejoice, 3500 applications invited for Canada Immigration

The Ninth Express Entry Draw of 2018 got released on 9th May, and it brought the spring of good news for the candidates as the Comprehensive Ranking Score (CRS) determined by the IRCC (Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada) is set at 441 points, which is the same as the CRS Score released last time on 26th April 2018. This means that all the candidates with 441 or above are eligible to apply for the Permanent residency (PR) Status in Canada. Also, there was a total of 3,500 ITAs (Invitation to Apply) which were sent to the candidates, and it has also brought the total number of ITAs issued this year to a glaring 28,000.

Key points of the Ninth Express Entry Draw are:

  • The Express Entry Draw was opened on 9th May, 2018 to 10th May, 2018
  • Usual Trend of Express Entry Draws released after 15 days followed.
  • Comprehensive Ranking System(CRS) score asked is 441 points or above
  • IRCC invited 3,500 Candidates in this draw

PRE- ASSESS YOUR ELIGIBILITY FOR THE PR STATUS IN CANADA

Ninth Express Entry Draws – 9th May, 2018

There is a pattern that can be seen this year with respect to the number of ITAs (Invitation to Apply) sent by the IRCC (Immigration Refugee Citizenship Canada) as it is fourth time in a row that 3,500 ITAs are issued. Further, there has been no change with respect to the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) as in the last draw as well which got released on 26th April, 2018, it was the same score of 441. Moreover, in the recent draws, the mode of Tie-break has been applied and this time as well that custom seems to be followed. A tie- break situation arises when there are multiple candidates who have 441 CRS points and in such case the candidates who have been in the Express Entry Pool for a long period of time their applications are considered first.
