NSNP conducted its latest draw through its “enhanced” stream – Labour Market Priorities Stream, that allows them to search for the skilled candidates in the federal government’s Express entry program.
Express entry programs are the major source of skilled immigration in Canada. It manages the profiles of the immigrants who have applied for Canada PR Visa through three major skilled immigration programs: Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP), Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), and Canadian Experience Class (CEC).
All the express entry profiles are then submitted together into the express entry pool, where it is ranked according to the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). CRS points are awarded based on the candidate’s credentials like age, language proficiency, work experience, etc. Highest ranked profiles are then issued ITAs through frequently held express entry draws.
For an express entry candidate to get a provincial nomination they are awarded a major boost of 600 CRS points, effectively guaranteeing an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to apply for Canada PR Visa to the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).
