9th express entry draw 2018

Minimum score requirement for Ontario Immigration Nominee Program(OINP) undergoes a change

Ontario undergoes changes with respect to minimum Comprehensive Ranking System score requirement for its Express Entry-linked Human Capital Priorities immigration stream. Earlier a score of 400 Comprehensive Ranking System score(CRS) was generally asked from the candidate but now as per the latest update the minimum score will now be “determined by the director”. Further, all the candidates will be asked to inform about their interest of migrating to Ontario or all other provincial territories when they are creating their Express Entry Program.

Human Capital Priorities Stream is one of the most popular and active streams of Ontario Immigration Nominee program. In 2018, the minimum score of 400 Comprehensive Ranking System score was asked by Ontario three times out of which two times the Express entry candidates with a job offer in Ontario were targeted and anther time candidates with French language ability of CLB 7 or higher were preferred. For the august 9, 2018 Draws the Comprehensive Ranking System score minimum score was even as low as 350 point with job offer in hands of the candidates. There are a total number of 3534 Notifications of Interest(NOI)s issued to the selected Express Entry candidates through Human Capital Priorities stream this year.
