Ontario Invites 699 Express Entry Candidates for Provincial Nomination

OINP issues a total of 699 NOIs to express entry candidates with the minimum CRS score set at 358 points to apply for a provincial nomination for Canada PR Visa

OINP – Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program invites express entry candidates with work experience in one of nine targeted occupations through it’s “enhanced” stream – Human Capital Priorities Stream (HCP) to apply for provincial nomination.

The latest provincial draw held on June 3 issued NOIs – Notification of Interests to the candidates with work experience in any one of the following occupations:

  • Financial Manager (NOC Code 0111)
  • Other Administrative Service Managers (NOC Code 0114)
  • Advertising, marketing, and public relations manager (NOC Code 0124)
  • Financial auditors and accountants (NOC Code 1111)
  • Other financial officers (NOC Code 1114)
  • Professional occupations in business management consulting (NOC Code 1122)
  • Registered nurses and registered psychiatric nurses (NOC Code 3012)
  • Other primary health practitioners (NOC Code 3124)
  • Dietitians and nutritionists (NOC Code 3132)

For an Express entry candidate to be invited in the latest OINP draw, they need to have the CRS – Comprehensive Ranking System score between 358 to 439 points with a minimum of one year of work experience. A total of 167 NOIs were given to candidates with Canadian work experience.

A total of 532 invited candidates had the required work experience internationally. These candidates need to have the CRS score between the range of 471 and 500 points.

For an express entry candidate to get a provincial nomination, their CRS Score is given a major boost of 600 CRS points, effectively guaranteeing an ITA – Invitation to Apply to submit their application for Canada PR Visa to the IRCC – Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada.

Province of Ontario has been allotted a total of 7,600 nominations for this year. Out of which, 250 nominations are for temporary workers in intermediate skilled occupations or NOC – National Occupation Classification level C.
