Ontario Issues Invitations via its Huge in Demand Human Capital Stream for First Time in 2019

Candidates who have applied via the express entry program were issued 1,493 invitations with the invitations given to the candidates with score as low as 439 through Ontario’s Human Capital Priorities Stream.

With the Ontario’s Human Capital Stream, Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) is allowed to search the express entry pool for the applicants/candidates who are able to meet the stream’s federal and provincial requirements and eligibility criteria.

Candidates who are able to get the invitation via the Notification of Interest (NOI) from the Ontario province and can apply for provincial nomination are able to get 600 CRS (Comprehensive Ranking System) points in their express profile on successfully getting the nomination.

Minimum CRS score of the candidates who were invited in these rounds of invitations is 439 points and getting the provincial nomination will increase their score to 1039 points which will make sure that the candidate is able to apply for residence visa.

With these latest rounds of invitation’s draws saw the Human Capital Priorities Stream resume their “general” or non-targeted draws with this it means that the candidates who do not have any job-offers or have not proficiency in French language were also issued the invitations.

All the last four draws by the Ontario’s Human Capital Stream that were held last year 2018, sees the first three draws targets the candidates with job-offers and last draw targets the candidates with French language proficiency. Last year in 2018, a total 3,719 invitations were issued to Express Entry candidate via the Human Capital Stream making it the busiest OINP’s three immigrants’ streams. 1,633 invitations were issued via the French-Speaking Skilled Worker Stream and another 1,626 invitations to the Express Entry candidates via Skilled Trades Stream.

For this latest round of invitations issued via the Ontario’s Human Capital Stream neither job offer or French language proficiency were required for the candidates in order to be eligible for getting the invitations. Updates to stream’s application guide were published in December which stated that the candidates with job offers or work experience in specific occupations or sectors may be prioritized over the other candidates.
