The Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP) opened the Express Entry linked sub category International Skilled Worker Occupation in-demand on 13th June, 2018 and it accepted a total number of 400 applications. It took only three hours’ time for the seats to be filled and those 400 candidates who were quickest to apply got through the SINP program.
It was second time in 2018 that the entries were open in this category. Prior to this, the entries under this category were accepted on January 10, 2018. That time also an intake of 400 candidates was invited by the IRCC.
The candidates who have qualified through this program will receive an extra 600 Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) point and will be sent and invitation to apply (ITA) for the PR status of Canada. Further, this is a very attractive category for immigrants as it does not require a job offer from the candidate for immigration. Moreover, it allots SINP the ability to nominate candidates in the Express Entry pool.
As per the latest speculation, SINP will accept a maximum of 2600 application through Express Entry linked sub category International Skilled Worker Occupation in-demand which means that there is a chance for 1800 more candidates to migrate to Canada through SINP this year.
