Saskatchewan Issues the Biggest Expression of Interest Draw to Date

Saskatchewan Issues the Biggest Expression of Interest Draw to Date

Saskatchewan is setting new records for immigration. The latest draw has seen as many as 926 applicants get invitations. This is primarily thanks to the new International Skilled Worker Expression on Interest system that was introduced this year in July. This system has resulted in more and more people getting selected for immigration.

The latest draw took in both Express Entry applicants and those who applied through occupation-in-demand. For occupation-in-demand, the total number of invitations issued were at 671. At the same time, the passing requirement also dropped to an all-time low at 61 points.

Similarly, Saskatchewan invited 255 candidates through the Express Entry program. The lowest score among the candidates was 60. This makes another low in the minimum requirements for qualifying for immigration to Saskatchewan. Naturally, experts have taken a keen interest in Saskatchewan’s changing immigration policies.

This is a clear indication that Saskatchewan plans to capitalize on the multi-year immigration plan launched by the CIC this year. This also means that it will be competing with other provinces like Alberta and Manitoba for the first choice for immigration to Canada.

Can Getting a SINP Nomination Help You Immigrate to Canada?

Yes, the Saskatchewan Immigration Nomination Program or SINP accepts applications from professionals who have an interest in immigrating to the province. Getting selected for the nomination is not easy. However, once you get the PNP nomination, you will get 600 points towards your application. This means that you are guaranteed a selection for immigration one you get a PNP nomination.

Another major benefit of applying for PNPs is that their overall eligibility requirement is lower than that of the Express Entry program. So, even if you are not able to get selected for immigration to Canada through Express Entry, PNP can help you achieve your dream. That is why so many applicants apply for PNPs each month.

How Can I Apply for PNP?

Broadly speaking, there are two ways you can apply for Canada PR via PNP. The first through the Express Entry program and the second is through the SINP immigration website. Ideally, an applicant should apply through both methods as this will enable the Saskatchewan authorities to quickly process it.

While the Express Entry and SINP programs are fairly straightforward, there are a lot of conditions and considerations that can be confusing. Many applicants make minor mistakes because of which their applications get rejected.

Now, it is not possible for any application to know of all the details regarding the application process. So, the best thing to do is to apply for Canada immigration through reputed consultancies like Nationwide Immigration.
