Saskatchewan’s Express Entry sub-category opens for 400 new applications

Good news for Saskatchewan immigration hopefuls! A recent announcement by the IRCC states that the SINP Express Entry sub-category will now be accepting applications for immigration to Saskatchewan. A total of 400 applications will be accepted as per the announcement and skilled professionals whose occupations are in-demand in Saskatchewan will be given priority. This recent announcement has come quickly behind the IRCC’s announcement of getting as many as 1 million people into Canada by 2020. From this, it is easy to see that the demand for skilled professionals with enough work experience and technical expertise is rising.

So, if you have been planning to move to Canada with a PR visa, then this is the best time to apply. It is actually possible to get approved for a Canada PR within 6 to 9 months. But you will need to apply perfectly to get approved in the shortest amount of time. Also, for SINP, since there are only 400 vacancies and people from all over the world will be applying for them, the best thing to do will be to take the help of Canada immigration experts while making your application for immigration to Saskatchewan.

In the next segment of this page, we are going to take a look at the eligibility requirements of the Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program’s Express Entry sub-category. Want to know if you qualify for immigration to this beautiful prairie province? Read on to find out!

SINP Express Entry Eligibility Requirements 2018

Saskatchewan has always been a favourite province for people who cannot get into Canada through the Express Entry program. There are many reasons for this but the best one is that it has a relatively lower eligibility requirement for immigration. At the same time, Saskatchewan offers many amazing job opportunities to people and is quickly developing into one of the leading provinces in Canada. Here are the latest eligibility requirements for moving to this province:

Here are the latest eligibility requirements for moving to this province:

  • The first thing you will need to eligible for immigration to Saskatchewan through the Express Entry sub-category is having an Express Entry Profile Number and Job Seeker Validation Code. This shows that you have been accepted into the Express Entry program and are viable candidate.
  • On the basis of the information in your Express Entry profile, the SINP will grade it and assign you a score. If you score above 60 points in the SINP point assessment grid, then you have a good chance of getting the PNP from Saskatchewan.
  • One of the best things about the SINP is that it only requires you to have a CLB 5 score in English to immigrate. So, if you have been accepted into Express Entry, then you already have a score of CLB 7 or higher and can qualify for immigration without any problems.
  • In order to get selected for immigration to Saskatchewan, you will only need a post-secondary education certificate. However, it will be best if you already have a Master’s degree or higher and can produce the degree as and when required.
  • All applicants for Express Entry need to have at least 1 year of working experience in order to qualify. If you have more than 3 years of experience, then you stand a good chance of getting selected. But since there are only 400 positions, only the most educated and most experienced will be selected. Check with our immigration experts to find out if you can meet the SINP experience criteria.

If you get selected for immigration to Saskatchewan, you will need to give a proof of funds to support your immigration. Since you are going to need this anyway, don’t wait for the PNP. Get your financial documents together before you make the application. That way, when you get selected you can move to Canada immediately without any problems. Note that there are special considerations for proof of funds. For example, they cannot be borrowed from anywhere and must be completely liability-free. Also, they must be available in the form of liquid assets so you cannot use property as an adequate proof of funds.

Apart from the eligibility requirements mentioned above, there are several other requirements that you will need to consider when making your application. We highly recommend you get in touch with our Canada immigration experts and let them guide you towards a successful SINP immigration application.
