Back-to-back BC PNP draws invite 66 candidates for PR

The British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) has conducted new draws. The first invitation rounds of November saw BC PNP issuing invitations to candidates under the Skills Immigration and Entrepreneur Immigration categories.

If you have been invited to these latest BC PNP draws, you will have 30 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the BC PNP. If this timeframe passes, your Invitation to Apply (ITA) will no longer be valid.

Latest BC PNP Draws - Results

The BC PNP latest draws were held on November 05 and 06, 2024. A total of 66 candidates were invited across both the Skills Immigration and Entrepreneur Immigration categories. Candidates required a minimum score of 96 to be eligible for an invitation.

Selection Criteria

Targeted invitations in this Skills Immigration draw were issued based on the following selection factors as defined in the BC PNP points calculator:

Education - level and field of education and where it was completed.
Eligible professional designations in B.C.
Language skills.
Occupation.
Duration and skill level of work experience.
Wage and/or skill level of job offer.
Intent to live, work and settle in a specific region.
Strategic priorities - factors that address specific labour market needs in B.C. or support government pilot projects and initiatives.

Targeted invitations in this Entrepreneur Immigration draw were issued based on the following selection factors:

The qualified candidate’s registration score.
The specific region in which a candidate proposes to establish a business.
The population size of the community in which the candidate proposes to establish a business.
Whether the proposed business is a start-up or a purchase of an existing business.
Whether the business proposal is aligned with identified priority business sectors.

British Columbia Provincial Nominee Program (BC PNP) conducts 4-5 draws almost every month. The consecutive draws serve as a testament to British Columbia’s commitment to prioritize the selection of Skilled Workers, International Graduates, and Entrepreneurs with the necessary skills, qualifications, and potential to succeed in the province’s dynamic economy.

If you did not receive an invitation in these BC PNP latest draws, your profile will remain active in the pool of candidates - for 12 months from the date of submission. You can expect to receive an invitation in the next BC PNP draw. Currently, 80% of applications under the BC PNP are being processed between 8 to 10 months.

The next BC PNP draw is projected to be conducted on November 13, 2024.
