Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has conducted a new category-based Express Entry draw on July 22, 2025. This is the fourth Express Entry draw of the July month. The Express Entry draw was held to invite candidates from the Healthcare and Social Services category only.
The Express Entry latest draw was held on July 22, 2025 and a total of 4,000 candidates with a CRS cut-off score of 475, were invited to apply under the Healthcare and social services occupations category.
Candidates who met the minimum CRS score and submitted their Express Entry profiles before the tie-breaking date and time received invitations to apply for Canada PR.

Invitations may be issued to apply under the Federal Skilled Worker Program, Canadian Experience Class and Federal Skilled Trades Program.

Thus far, IRCC has issued 49,403 ITAs under the Express Entry Program in 2025.
This year, the majority of Express Entry draws have targeted CEC candidates, while other draws focused on PNP candidates, French-speaking, and Healthcare and social services individuals in priority occupations.

Since June 10, 2025, Express Entry system has followed a consistent pattern of alternating PNP draws and CEC draws every two weeks.
This targeted draw Canada rising demand for professionals in the healthcare and social services sectors. As the country continues to rising healthcare needs and population growth, IRCC is prioritizing candidates who can strengthen the country health care and social services infrastructure.
Under the Canada Immigration Levels Plan 2025–2027, Express Entry is conducting more category-based draws, focusing on sectors such as Healthcare and Social Services, Education and Agriculture and agri-food to attract skilled talent that meets real labor market needs.
