Canada held the second Express Entry draw of the year. This draw is only for the Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. This CEC based express entry draw is the second-largest draw in history after the pandemic in this category.
Last month, IRCC held only 2 draws and invited 11,000 candidates with CRS scores between 515-520. Overall, CEC invites 43,850 through 24 draws.
However, under the Canada Immigration Levels Plan 2026–2028, IRCC plans to admit 380,000 permanent residents, including 109,000 through economic pathways such as Express Entry.

The Canadian Experience Class is a permanent residence program under Canada’s Express Entry system. This is specifically designed for skilled workers what already gained experience in Canada and want to settle permanently.
To qualify, candidates must have at least one year (12 months) of full-time or equivalent part-time skilled work experience in Canada within the last three years. The work experience must fall under NOC TEER 0, 1, 2, or 3 Canada in-demand occupation list and must have been obtained with proper authorization.
Applicants must also meet language proficiency requirements, with minimum Canadian Language Benchmark (CLB) levels depending on the occupation type.
Unlike some other Express Entry programs, CEC does not require proof of settlement funds, making it especially attractive for international graduates and temporary foreign workers already living in Canada.
CEC candidates are ranked using the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS), which considers factors such as age, education, work experience, and language ability. Regular CEC-specific draws offer a faster, more streamlined pathway to Canadian permanent residence.
