Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada has conducted a new Express Entry draw specifically targeting Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. This was the second Express Entry draw of August and the 29th invitation round conducted by the Canadian Government in 2025.
The latest Express Entry draw took place on August 7, 2025, with 1,000 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) issued to eligible Canadian Experience Class (CEC) candidates. The minimum CRS score required was 534.

If you receive an invitation in the latest Express Entry draw, you will have 60 days to submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR). If this deadline results, your invitation to apply (ITA) will no longer be valid.

Express Entry Draws have shown a strong focus on PNP candidates, while other streams like Canadian Experience Class, French language proficiency, Healthcare and social services occupations, and Education occupations have also been prioritized through category-based selections.
