On September 17, 2025, IRCC held the fifth Express Entry Draw of the month and issued 2500 Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for permanent residency in Canada. This is the second-largest draw of 2025, targeting the new education category with the CRS cut-off score of 462. This lower CRS score affects the growth emphasis on applicants who are eligible for education-related occupations.

However, this draw reduces the 17 points from the first education-focused draw that is on May 1, 2025.
