Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada held its latest Express Entry draw on August 6, 2025, for the Provincial Nominee Program category. This was the first invitation round in a month conducted by the department.
Last month, Canada conducted four Express Entry draws for Healthcare and social services occupations, the Provincial Nominee Program and the Canadian Experience Class that invited 7,558 candidates to apply for Canada PR.
The latest Express Entry draw on August 6, 2025, invites 225 candidates for the Provincial Nominee Program with a minimum CRS score of 739.
If you receive an invitation in this draw, you will have 60 days to prepare and submit a complete application for permanent residence (PR) to the IRCC.

If you received an Invitation to Apply in this draw, you will receive a message in your IRCC account telling you:
You will need to submit your documents that verify the information provided in your Express Entry profile. IRCC will review your Canada PR application to ensure the details match the one you provided in your Express Entry profile.
Additionally, you will pay the applicable Canada processing fee and your family members fees, a right of Permanent Residence fee, and a biometric fee.
If You Didn’t Receive an ITA
If you weren’t selected in this draw, your Express Entry profile remains active in the pool for up to 12 months. You may still receive an ITA in the next draw. Do not create a new profile until your current Express Entry profile expires.
IRCC has conducted 14 PNP-specific draws in 2025, including the latest Express Entry Draw. So far, 6278 candidates have been invited to apply for PR under this category.

Express Entry draws this year have primarily focused on PNP draws, with the remainder of Express Entry ITAs dedicated to CEC candidates, candidates with French-language proficiency, and those in the Express Entry priority occupation categories.
So far in 2025, Canada has held 14 PNP-specific Express Entry draws, inviting a total of 6,278 candidates to apply for permanent residence under this stream.

More recently, IRCC has followed a bi-weekly draw pattern, alternating between PNP and CEC draws. Additionally, Healthcare and social services category draws have been consistently held over the past three months May, June and July.
Currently, 80% of Express Entry applications under the Express Entry program are being processed within 6 months.
