Skilled Worker in Manitoba pathway

Managed under the Manitoba PNP, the Skilled Worker in Manitoba stream is designed for skilled workers who are currently living and working in Manitoba. This stream selects candidates with strong employment ties to the province and the skills needed in the local labor market.

To be eligible, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • Have a close friend or family member living in Manitoba province,
  • Have a full-time, permanent job offer from a Manitoba PNP,
  • Applicants have a previous education or work experience in the province,
  • An ITA received directly from the Manitoba.

This can helps that the applicant is likely to settle in Manitoba successfully.

Applicants must also minimum score 60 points out of 100 on the MPNP points grid, aka the Manitoba PNP points calculator. Points are given based on factors like age, language skills (English or French), work experience, education, and connection to Manitoba.

It is important to note that having a connection to Manitoba PNP does not guarantee a nomination. The Manitoba program looks for people who can adapt easily and contribute to the economy of the province. Also, applicants must have enough money to support themselves and their families after arriving in Manitoba. If the candidate selected receives a provincial nomination, which helps in applying for Canada PR by the IRCC.
