The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program (NBPNP) has conducted back-to-back draws, inviting candidates from various NBPNP streams to apply for permanent residency. The most recent draw took place in June 17, 2025, following an earlier draw conducted in June 16, 2025.

Pathways of New Brunswick PNP

The New Brunswick Provincial Nominee Program has three main pathways. Let’s check at the eligibility criteria for each category:

New Brunswick Experience - To be eligible for this pathway you need to fulfill the following:

  • Working full-time in a non-seasonal position for a New Brunswick employer
  • Working for the same employer for at least 6 months while living in New Brunswick

New Brunswick Graduates - To be eligible for this pathway you need to fulfill the following:

  • Completed a program of study that is eligible for PSWP at a designated learning institution in New Brunswick
  • Working full-time in a non-seasonal position for a New Brunswick employer who is willing to support your application

New Brunswick Priority Occupations - To be eligible for this pathway you need to fulfill the following:

  • Accepted a full-time non-seasonal position for a New Brunswick employer
  • At least one year of paid work experience in the same position
  • NOC Code must be in the priority NOC Codes in the corresponding guide

If you receive an ITA, you have 45 days to submit a complete application to the NB PNP. If your application is approved, you will be nominated by the province to apply for Canada PR. You will have 30 days to accept the nomination in your Federal Express Entry account.

The New Brunswick PNP is a good option if you are looking for a quieter lifestyle, affordable living, and good job opportunities. It’s also helpful for people who may not have very high scores in Express Entry but still have valuable skills.
