Newfoundland and Labrador announced their latest draw on September 26, 2025, for applicants who want to apply for Canada PR. This Provincial Nominee Program (PNP) draw invites both the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).

However, this Newfoundland and Labrador PNP draw targets applicants who have job offers in skilled occupations. Through these streams, the province addresses both immediate labour needs and long-term workforce planning.

From now on, Newfoundland and Labrador will invite a total of 2,821 skilled candidates, including 2,125 through the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) and 696 through the Atlantic Immigration Program (AIP).

About the Newfoundland and Labrador PNP

Newfoundland and Labrador PNP is the newest 10th province of Canada. Apart from the Canadian Province Nominee Program, Newfoundland and Labrador has its own immigration program.

Moreover, they have an agreement with the Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) to invite only 1050 applicants through the federal government of Canada. NLPNP selects candidates based on the province’s labour market needs and economic requirements.

Therefore, the Newfoundland and Labrador Provincial Nominee Program (NLPNP) have different streams to invite people who wish to apply for Canada PR. The streams include:

  • Newfoundland and Labrador Express Entry Skilled Worker
