Ontario has officially launched its immigration selections for the year under the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP), signalling continued efforts to address labour shortages and strengthen regional economies.

However, in the previous year, the Ontario PNP draw welcomed 12,528 skilled candidates through 45 draws.

In its first selection round of 2026, the province conducted multiple targeted draws focused on candidates with valid job offers in key sectors. The invitations were issued through Employer Job Offer streams, prioritizing professionals in healthcare, regional economic development, and early childhood education.

The latest Ontario PNP draw was held on February 02, 2026. A total of 1,825 were issued under the Employer Job Offer streams for Foreign Worker, International Student, and In-Demand Skills.

The Provincial Nominee Program focused on a specific list of Ontario in-demand occupations in its latest Employer Job Offer draws. Below is a detailed breakdown of roles selected across various streams and targeted categories.

1. Occupation targeted under Employee Job Offer: Foreign Worker Stream draw

  • NOC 31100 - Specialists in clinical and laboratory medicine
  • NOC 31101 - Specialists in surgery
  • NOC 31102 - General practitioners and family physicians

2. Occupation targeted under Employee Job Offer: Regional Economic Development through Immigration (REDI) draw

Applicants received invitations under the Employer Job Offer: Foreign Worker stream if they had a minimum score of 44 and a valid job offer in one of the eligible National Occupational Classification (NOC) codes listed below.

Invitations under the Employer Job Offer: International Student stream were issued to candidates with a score of 69 or higher and a qualifying job offer in an eligible NOC code.

Candidates were invited through the Employer Job Offer: In-Demand Skills stream if they scored at least 34 and held a valid job offer in one of the eligible NOC codes.
