Canada PR Visa Fees in Indian Rupees

The cost of applying for a Canada PR Visa varies for each different immigration program. There are various immigration pathways to Canada PR Visa with each one of them having different eligibility criteria and processes.

What is the cost to apply for a Canada PR Visa?

Canada PR Visa fee varies from the various major immigration programs under which you have applied for your PR Visa. Fees can differ based on the immigration class. Economic Immigration Fees

Following are the fees for the Canadian Economic class immigration programs that include:

Family Sponsorship Processing Fees

If you want to sponsor your family members for Canada PR Visa, you have to submit the following fees to the IRCC:

Business Immigration Fees

Following is the fee structure for those who wish to move to Canada through Investor, Entrepreneur, or Self-Employed streams:

All the above-mentioned fees are to be submitted to the IRCC depending on the program you have applied for Canada PR Visa. Other than these fees there are also other costs that need to be taken into account.

Language Proficiency Test – INR 14,000

You will be required to show your proficiency in either of two official languages – English or French to be eligible to apply for Canada PR Visa. For English, you must take the IELTS examination. IELTS costs INR 14,000 and is valid for two years.

ECA – $227 CAD to $322 CAD

You have to get your educational credentials assessed by a recognized assessing body to get your ECA – Educational Credential Assessment. ECA costs $227 CAD to $322 CAD per person.

Medical Test Cost – $70 CAD

You will be required to get a medical certificate through a medical examination that is being conducted by a recognized panel of doctors.

Police Clearance Certificate – $10 CAD

PCC shows that you do not have a criminal record.

Biometric Fees – $85 CAD

$85 CAD per person is the fees for Biometric for Canada PR Visa. However, families applying together for a visitor visa will only pay a maximum biometric fee of up to $170 CAD.

What are the settlement funds required for a Canada PR Visa?

If you have applied for a Canada PR Visa through Federal Skilled Worker Program (FSWP) or Federal Skilled Trades Program (FSTP), you will be required to show some proof that you will be able to support yourself or any accompanying family members for the move to Canada.

Each year IRCC updates its settlement funds for Canada PR Visa. Following table shows the latest proof of funds required for Canada PR Visa in 2020:
