Ontario Immigration Nominee Program (OINP) Fees:

There is an estimated charge of CAD$1500 when someone is planning to migrate to the province of Ontario in Canada. Here, one should keep in mind that the estimation is based on the key charges involved and the process of getting the necessary documents together. Further, the fee charges for primary and secondary candidates is different from one another.

Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP) Fees:

There are different categories and sub categories through which one can apply for Saskatchewan Immigration Nominee Program (SINP) and the PR fee in all these categories vary from one another. However, on an average an estimated price of CAD$ 300 would suffice for someone who is planning to migrate to Saskatchewan. Naturally, the fee structure would change if you have a child or any other dependent attached as a secondary candidate.

Apart from the Processing charges few other charges that are included in the immigration list are

  • Right to Permanent Resident Fee (RPRF) – This is the fee that is paid by all the candidates upon arrival in Canada and this needs to be paid to the CIC before the Permanent Resident (PR) Fee is issued to the candidate. The fee charged under this category is 490$. Once you are selected and apply for a PR visa, you will need to pay the cost of issuance of the PR visa to Canada. The average cost of issuance revolves around 550 CAD
  • Travelling Tickets – This expenditure will vary depending upon the size of the family and number of immigrants. The general airplane ticket for one person is 1300$ – 1800 $ per person.
  • IELTS Exam Cost –IELTS stands for International English Language Testing System and is a globally recognized and standardized English language testing system. This mandatory documentation proves that you have the minimal language proficiency that is required by the IRCC to allow you entry into Canada as a permanent resident (PR). The registration cost for the exam at present is Rs. 13,250
  • The Education Credential Assessment (ECA) – The Immigration, Refugee and Citizenship Canada (IRCC), Canada’s premier immigration body, requires that all immigration applicants who have earned their educational qualifications from outside Canada must get the ECA from the World Education Services. The purpose of this document is to show that the certification you have is equivalent to that of the Canadian education system. An ECA remains valid for up to five years, so you will most likely have to take up this expense only once. The cost of the acquiring this document is 220 (CAD). In addition, you may have to pay for any associated delivery charges.
  • Passport Cost – These are costs which you will need to bear in order to get the passport to travel abroad and validate your identity to the Canadian authorities. The total cost of this process depends upon the number of people travelling with you to Canada. The average cost of issuance of a passport varies between Rs. 1000 to Rs. 2000 for a personi.e around 20$. If you do it by Tatkal, then you will have to pay addition costs of around Rs. 2000 for each passport.
  • Medical examination –The IRCC mandates that every immigrant, upon landing on Canadian soil, must undergo a complete medical exam. Naturally, the cost of this exam will vary depending upon the number of people coming along with you. You can always enquire locally to find out the exact cost of this procedure or make a query to a reliable immigration consultant for the same. The average cost of each medical exam is 250 CAD.
  • Police Certification Cost –These certificates verify that you do not have any charges pending against you and also showcase your legal history. Certain immigration applicants are denied PR visa if they have a criminal record. The total cost of getting these certificates varies and depends upon the number of persons traveling with you but on average you will require 15$per person

As you can see from the above, there are several independent factors that come together to determine how much your Canada immigration will cost you. However, as an average you should assume that the entire process will cost you between 1700 and 1800 CAD. Many times, immigration applicants are not able to get through in their first attempt and thus, have to take up the additional cost of applying in the next year. This unnecessary expense can be avoided by applying for a Canadian PR from a reliable immigration consultant. They will help you keep expenses to a minimum and make the entire immigration process highly cost efficient.

Money is the most important asset when you are planning to migrate to any country. It not only brings you financial security but also adds positively to your application as no country would prefer an unemployed immigrant in its domain.  Also, the amount of money needed for survival depends on the size of the family. As an applicant for the PR status you should be able to prove that you have enough funds available to pay for your living expenditure. Further, it cannot be a borrowed money thus it’s important that you prove that you are capable of earning through your education and work experience. In this regard, two categories can positively help your case which are:

  • Federal Skilled Workers Program
  • Federal Skilled Traders Program

The only cases under which you need not prove that you have funds available with you are:

  • If you have a valid job offer in hand
  • Authorized to work in Canada
  • Meeting the requirements of Canadian Experience class

The proof of funds is a legal procedure in which certain documents are required that can prove that you have enough funds available. The details should be printed on the letterhead of the financial institution and properly signed by the authorities. Some of these documents are:

  • Bank Account details – which would include date of opening of each account, the current balance in each bank account and average balance in the last six months in each account.
  • List of outstanding loans
  • Credit card statements
