Alberta PNP Next Draw Prediction 2022

The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program (AINP) issues ITAs to eligible candidates on a monthly basis, with some exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the Alberta PNP next draw prediction – are determined by the needs of the AINP application inventory.

Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program

The Alberta province operates the Atlantic Immigrant Nominee Program (now known as Alberta Advantage Nominee Program). Under this program, aspiring immigrants with relevant academic and employment experience may receive an Alberta Provincial Nomination Certificate.

The fact that the province does not have a specific job occupation list, is one of the biggest reasons why applying for Canadian permanent residency becomes easy in Alberta. The Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program also has lower CRS score requirements, as compared to other provinces in Canada.

If you plan on applying under the AINP, there are eight options to choose from:

  • Alberta Opportunity Stream.
  • Alberta Express Entry Stream.
  • Alberta Accelerated Tech Pathway.
  • Rural Renewal Stream.
  • Alberta Farm Stream.
  • Graduate Entrepreneur Immigration Stream.
  • Foreign Graduate Entrepreneur Stream.
  • Rural Entrepreneur Stream.

Depending on the specific situation, candidates can choose the relevant stream – and find out their eligibility. Once done, they would be mandated to submit an application for their chosen stream, and obtain a provincial nomination from Alberta.

Upon successful nomination, candidates would be required to submit a permanent residency application to the Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC).

The above-mentioned eight streams under the Alberta Immigrant Nominee Program comprise both – Enhanced and Base streams.

Enhanced streams are those that are aligned with Canada’s renowned Express Entry system. In Alberta, only the Alberta Express Entry stream is enhanced, where candidates are required to obtain a qualifying Express Entry score, meet prerequisites, and demonstrate an interest in moving to Alberta – may receive a Notification of Interest from Alberta.

Base streams are not aligned to the Express Entry system. Interested candidates are required to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) through the province’s AINP portal. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria and a qualifying score in the Alberta PNP points calculator are issued provincial nominations.
