Express Entry is a point-based system, where candidates are assigned a point score based on the Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS). Candidates with the highest scores are issued invitations to apply for Canadian permanent residency.

Candidates failing to meet the eligibility for Express Entry also have the option to get a nomination from an enhanced provincial program.
