What is Skilled Workers Expression of Interest (EOI)?

An EOI for International Skilled Workers is not the same as a SINP application. You can submit a pre-application online to demonstrate your qualifications and express your interest in applying to the SINP. The information that you provide is used to determine your eligibility for the immigration program. Your submission's acceptance into the International Skilled Worker EOI system shall be determined by this.

The International Skilled Worker EOI system is used to choose applicants who possess the abilities required by Saskatchewan's employment market. These consist of ties to the province, professional experience, and language proficiency. The applicants who are accepted by the system are then sent an Invitation to Apply (ITA).

How does the Expression of Interest draw works?

Once you submit the EOI profile, you shall be placed with others in the pool of candidates:

  •  The candidates need to have one open EOI profile.
  •  Your EOI profile is valid for a year from the date of submission.
  •  Based on the information provided in the EOI profile, the candidates are ranked.
  •  In order to submit a comprehensive application to the SINP, applicants must have the highest EOI scores. The invites are distributed by an expression of interest draw.
  •  The online system used by SINP for online submission of expressions of interest and nomination applications will be disseminated through email.
  •  The data in the EOI must always be true and accurate. Your EOI profile must include regular changes so that province is aware of your most recent profile.
  •  If it turns out that the information on your profile is fraudulent or insufficient, there is a good risk that your visa will be denied for at least two years.

Once the applicants receive the ITA, they shall have 60 days to submit a complete application to receive a Confirmation of Permanent Residency (CoPR).
