For international students, Canada offers three separate intakes. Winter, fall, and summer intake. Intakes may also be referred to as a semester at various Canadian universities. Following is a description of overseas students accepted into Canada:

• The main intake season for Canada is the fall, which begins in September.
• The secondary intake for Canada's winter season begins in January. Therefore, since Fall/September Intake is the main intake and Winter/January Intake is for students who missed their chance in Fall, the majority of colleges offer all of their courses during Fall/September Intake. In Canada, January/Winter Intake features a wide variety of courses offered by numerous colleges.
• The summer intake for Canada would begin in May, and there are very few courses offered there. Both the Canadian MBA and Master's admissions processes are identical to those described above.

Universities available for Canada's January 2023 intakes

The second most popular semester for university admissions in Canada is January or the winter intake. The professional options, scholarships, and internship offers are essentially the same as the September intake despite the institutes offering fewer programs. The benefit of intake is that there will be fewer students in the class, allowing you to talk with your professors. The applicants will continue to face stiff competition for admission to the best universities, which gives them additional motivation.

List of documents required

Students who are trying to get into a Canadian institution should prepare a list of the documents they will need to submit with their application for enrolment. The documents consist of

• The score for a language proficiency exam.
• The score for a language proficiency exam. 
• Score report for further tests including the SAT, ACT, GMAT, and GRE.
• Academic background.
• Certificates for extracurricular activities.
• Statement of purpose.
• Recommendation letter.
• A copy of your passport (a valid one).

Steps to apply for fall intake

• By December, narrow down the universities you wish to apply to.
• Pass the exam. Give the GRE, GMAT, and IELTS/TOEFL tests your best effort, then prepare your scorecards. By January, prepare and set the exam dates.
• Now gather all the necessary paperwork, your SOPs, and portfolios. By March, begin the university application process.
• Then, if the university you've applied to conducts interviews, finish them and showcase your accomplishments flawlessly.
• When everything is ready, submit your visa applications by June or July. finish the interview for a visa.
• In the latter half of July or August, arrange and organize your immigration documentation. Then get ready to fly to your dream university this fall intake to begin the first semester.

From August 2022 through October 2022, you can submit an application for Canada's September intake. Apply at least one month before your deadline after checking the deadlines of the universities you intend to attend. Respond to communications from the institution right away. Application deadlines typically fall between December and March for this intake. It varies, nonetheless, among institutions.
