On December 16, 2022, Western Australia conducted a new invitation round for State Nominated Migration Program (SNMP). This new Western Australia invitation round conducted on December 16 – issued invitations to a total of 5,006 candidates.

Who was invited?

Four different SNMP streams were considered for this invitation round for Subclass 190 and Subclass 491 including:

  • SNMP General Stream – WASMOL Schedule 1 | 388 invitations
  • SNMP General Stream – WASMOL Schedule 2 | 2,968 invitations 
  • SNMP Graduate Stream – Higher Education Graduates | 1,083 invitations
  • SNMP Graduate Stream – Vocational Education and Training Graduates | 567 invitations
The invitations received by candidates with the respect to Subclass and Expression of Interest (EOI) points are given below:

The Government of Western Australia nominates potential immigrants for the Skilled Nominated (Subclass 190 Visa) and Regional (Provisional) Skilled Nominated visa (Subclass 491 Visa) categories.

The number of invitations sent based on each subclass is listed below:

  • Subclass 190 Visa – 2,365 invitations in total.
  • Subclass 491 Visa – 2,641 invitations in total.
The Western Australia immigration services process nominations on behalf of the State Government. Candidates that have been nominated are given an automatic Invitation to Apply (ITA) for the intended visa from the Department of Home Affairs (DHA).
