2. Work Experience

You need a minimum of 12 months of full-time work experience in your current occupation in Alberta within the last 18 months. This experience should be directly related to your tech occupation.

3. Education

To apply for the Alberta Tech Pathway, tech workers require at least a 2-year diploma or degree from a recognized post-secondary institution. Your education must be related to your current occupation and should be verified through an Educational Credential Assessment (ECA).

4. Language Proficiency

Having proficiency in English or French language is essential. To prove your skills, take a language test like IELTS for English or TEF for French.

5. Job Offer

6. Work Permit
