Option 2: Provincial Nominee Program (PNPs)

The PNP is a program through which provinces and territories in Canada nominate candidates to apply for Canada PR based on their specific labour market needs. The eligibility criteria and selection process for the PNP vary by province or territory, and some may have specific occupations or industries that they are looking to fill.

Coming into 2024, the decision between PNP and Express Entry depends on individual circumstances and preferences. Candidates who are interested in settling in a specific province or territory and who meet the eligibility criteria may find that the PNP is a better option.
