Manitoba PNP conducted another Expression of Interest (EOI) draw for the month on January 26, 2023 – issuing 336 Letters of Advice to Apply (LAAs) to candidates under the Manitoba Provincial Nominee Program (MPNP).

The January 26th EOI draw #166 saw LAAs being issued to candidates under three MPNP streams:

Skilled Workers in Manitoba – 253 LAAs with a minimum score of 726.
International Education Stream – 60 LAAs.
Skilled Worker Overseas - 23 LAAs with a minimum score of 713.

Out of the total 336 Letters of Advice issued in the latest Manitoba draw – 32 LAAs were issued to candidates showcasing a valid Express Entry ID and Job Seeker validation code.

With back-to-back draws being conducted by Manitoba, it is a clear indication that the province targets to increase the number of candidates eligible to receive a provincial nomination under MPNP-managed streams.

Candidates wanting to apply for a provincial nomination are mandated to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) to the MPNP. Based on the provided answers, candidates complete a series of questions online and receive EOI Ranking Points in the Manitoba PNP points calculator. Their profile is then entered into a pool of all eligible candidates. Manitoba then invites the highest-scoring candidates in the pool to submit a full application to the MPNP on a regular basis.

MPNP issues ITAs to eligible candidates on a monthly basis, with some exceptions. The frequency, size, and date of the Manitoba PNP next draw prediction – are determined by the needs of the MPNP application inventory.
