The Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program (OINP) has conducted back-to-back invitation rounds for international graduates from around the world. These draws mark another significant step by Ontario in attracting international graduates to contribute to the province’s diverse and thriving labor market.

The latest Ontario PNP draws held on September 19, 2023, saw invitations being issued to a total of 608 candidates under OINP’s Masters Graduate Stream PhD Graduate Stream. Invited candidates also required a minimum score of 40 or above to be eligible for these invitation rounds.

If you’re invited.

If you have been selected from the pool of candidates, you may receive an Invitation to Apply (ITA) to the OINP However, an ITA does not mean that you qualify for one of the Ontario Immigrant Nominee Program streams. Once you have received an ITA, you may apply online if you qualify under the stream identified in your ITA. You must submit your application within 14 calendar days of receiving the ITA.

With these latest draws, Ontario continues to prioritize the selection of international students with the necessary skills, qualifications, and potential to succeed in the province’s dynamic economy. Successful candidates will have the opportunity to apply for provincial nomination - enhancing their chances to apply for Canada PR.

So far in 2023, Ontario has issued:

• 4,683 invitations under the Masters Graduate Stream, and
• 420 invitations under the PhD Graduate Stream.
